Maggie Nelson, a Boston based Video Editor, is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Arts in Media Arts Production at Emerson College. Graduating in 2026, her studies have focused primarily on post-production and producing. Maggie has been formally trained in a wide variety of editing software, including the Adobe Suite, Davinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer, and Avid Protools. She is incredibly passionate about post production, and when she isn't spending her time learning as much about editing as possible, she's teaching what she's learned to those around her and sharing her editing knowledge. While at Emerson Maggie has worked in the Digital Post Production Lab as a Lab Assistant, where she assisted editors and professors with editing related problems in the post production facilities. She also holds the position of Post Production Supervisor for the Emerson Channel, where she oversees the post production for eight different student run shows. In this role she also holds post production workshops for other students and assists them with any editing problems they may have. When she isn't editing, Maggie enjoys playing video games, reading comic books, and watching animated shows. She loves finding other people passionate about editing and geeking out over it with them.
